I bought the Sawa pottery box for my son, but ended up taking some time to work on it together — and I’m so glad I did.
The box came with some great colours, all the tools you need and really clear instructions, so everything is there to get you started.
I’m usually pretty good with my hands, but this was definitely harder than I thought! 😂
There’s something about slowing down, using your hands, making something imperfect and watching it take shape. I don’t even know what it is exactly… but I loved it. 🤍 I’m using it as an incense holder

What's in the box?

Do I need a kiln, an oven or a stove?
No. The clay air-dries on its own in 24 to 48 hours, and the wax pouch melts in the microwave. No kiln, no hob, no special equipment.
Is a clay pot safe to use as a candle?
Yes, when it is sealed. The kit includes a fire-safe vessel sealer that you brush inside the dried pot before pouring. The candle guide walks you through it, and the safety label goes on the base.
Which fragrance should I pick?
Orange & Ginger is warm, zesty and a little spicy. Peach Blossom is soft, sweet and floral. Each kit comes with one fragrance; pick it above before you add to cart.
How long does the candle burn?
It depends on the size of the pot you make. A Solo kit's 200g of soy wax gives roughly 25 to 35 hours of burn time across the candles you pour. Trim the wick to 5mm before each burn for a clean, even flame.
How long does the whole thing take?
Plan for two sessions. Shape the pot in an evening and let it dry for 24 to 48 hours. Then paint, seal, melt and pour in about an hour, and let the wax set overnight before lighting.
Is it suitable for kids?
The pottery part, yes: kids aged 8 and up can shape and paint with the guide. The sealing and hot wax steps are for adults, so plan to do those together.
When will it arrive?
Order by 5pm and your kit arrives the next day, anywhere in the UAE. Delivery is free across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and beyond. We also deliver to GCC countries; rates and times are shown at checkout.
Can I send a kit as a gift?
