Pottery Kit Business Bay: Free Delivery, From AED 198

October 28, 2026

Business Bay never really slows down. Towers, traffic and deadlines fill the week. By Friday, you want something quiet to do with your hands.

Why Business Bay Needs a Slower Hobby

Many people here live and work within a few streets. The office follows you home. Screens fill the evening. Rest feels hard to find.

Apartments are compact too. A pottery class means travel across the city. A wheel and a kiln are out of the question. Most people give up before they start.

You need a hobby that fits a small space. It must be calm, clean and easy to set up. And it must be delivered to your door.

The Answer: A Pottery Kit Made for Apartments

Sawa is a home pottery kit. It uses air dry clay, so there is no wheel and no kiln. You shape the clay at your table. It hardens in the open air.

Order online and the kit arrives at your tower reception or your door. Delivery to Business Bay is free. Everything you need is in the box.

The Solo Kit is AED 198 for one person. The Couple Kit is AED 228 for two. The Group Kit is AED 288 for up to four. Every kit includes air dry clay, wooden tools, paints, brushes and sealant. There is no wheel and no kiln. Delivery is free across the UAE.

What You Will Make

Most people start with a keys dish. It sits by your door and catches keys and cards. It is useful the same day you finish it.

Next, try a candle holder for a shelf. Or a small rest for prayer beads. Or a stand for bukhoor. All pieces are decor only.

The Couple Kit is a favourite here. Two colleagues or flatmates can share it on a quiet weeknight.

A Calm Evening After Work

Come home. Change. Clear the table. Open the box and start rolling. In ten minutes your shoulders drop. The clay asks for slow hands.

Put on a playlist. Leave the phone on the sofa. Your mind has one job. Shape the next curve.

Paint two days later, once the clay is firm. Choose colours that match your flat. Seal the pieces and place them on a shelf. The skyline outside is loud. The shelf inside is yours.

Display Your Finished Pieces

Group two or three pieces together on a shelf. Odd numbers look best. Mix heights so the eye moves along the row.

Use the keys dish by the door. Use the candle holder for a soft glow. Keep prayer beads on their rest by the bed. Place a bukhoor stand on a side table.

Dust the pieces with a soft dry cloth. Do not soak them in water. They are decor only and they last for years when kept dry.

Your First Session, Step by Step

Clear a flat table. Lay down newspaper. Read the short guide once. Start with the simplest piece, a small keys dish.

Roll the clay to an even thickness. Press it into shape. Smooth the edges with a damp finger. Slow work gives a neat result.

Leave the piece somewhere dry and shaded. Turn it once a day. After two to three days it is firm and ready for paint.

Why Air Dry Clay Works So Well

Traditional pottery needs a wheel, a kiln and a studio. Air dry clay needs none of them. It hardens by itself in a few days.

That makes it forgiving. If you do not like a shape, press it flat and start again. Nothing is wasted until it dries.

It is also clean. Wipe the table with a damp cloth. Close the pack. The clay stays soft until your next session.

Keep the unused clay wrapped well. Seal the bag tightly. A second evening of making then costs you nothing extra.

Three Tips for a Better Result

First, keep your clay a little thicker than you think. Thin walls crack as they dry. Second, smooth every join with a damp finger. Third, be patient with the drying time. Slow drying gives strong pieces.
